On the Oregon Trail

Oregon, Ohio, that is. We headed north up 75 to this suburb of Toledo this weekend to pick up Cal's grandma for the holidays. Family members in that neck of the woods (including great-grandma Ethel and great, great-aunt Helen, pictured below) were excited to meet Naomi for the first time.

Humorous note: the weather in Toledo this weekend was overcast and in the low 50s, but great-grandma's house was set to a balmy 80 degrees.

On a separate note, Naomi is now able to hold her head up for quite a while, and has just started to be able to roll onto her back from the face-plant position.

My favorite part of the morning is to check for new pictures of Naomi and the early bird, Grandma C, beat me to first post. It's a delight to watch this sweet baby become more aware of her world everyday. Little Gracie is surely a miracle. Love, Grandma R

It's getting competitive up in here; I need to get on the ball. Love the pics and commentary as well.

You call that balmy? I call it downright hot! You should have slept there in the summer with all of the windows closed; exception: I opened the back bedroom ones the full way and even would open those in the front one, but could not turn the fan on in there because it gets too cool! Cool was 75 degrees. Good to see all of you. Enjoy Thanksgiving! I DO NOT believe that baby was fussy. Couldn't Matt do enough knee bends?
