Croup

We are now in the throws of our third major childhood illness: croup. The past four days have been pretty rocky and her doctor said we probably have a few more ahead. Naomi had a fever that has now turned into sore throat, raspy breathing, hoarse voice and we are to anticipate cough that sounds like a barking seal. We definitely aren't out of the woods yet. It really stinks to feel completely helpless while watching Naomi feel so miserable!

In the meantime, we are simply taking it easy and staying away from other people at the risk of exposing anyone else to this funk. We hope and pray that it passes quickly and she makes a full recovery as soon as possible!

I am so sorry that Little Bit is feeling badly. Both for her and for Mommy and Daddy....that's tough. Give her a hug from Grandpa,Grandma and Uncle Jeffrey. We're thinking of you all. Much love.

is Little Bit a new nickname? You go away for a few days, and everything changes! Hope she's on the road to recovery...
