Weekend Update

I hesitate to give an update but I'm going to cross my fingers and say it seems as though Naomi has made a full recovery. She has been back to her energetic, loving, fun self for several days and we are so relieved! We did make a second trip to see the doctor this past week but it was for the first dose of her flu shot. That was not a highlight of her day but thankfully it's behind us. We all are receiving a relatively normal amount of sleep these days - so all is well.

Matt was gracious enough to give me some time off last night after a rather long week. I enjoyed a fun night out at Pho Paris, a trendy French-Vietnamese restaurant in town, with some girlfriends from Miami. It was great to get out and catch up with the girls!

Faux Paris, that is funny! Maybe they are trying to follow the success of Thai Tanic, T.G.I.Thai, Thaiphon, and Thai Me Up Thai Me Down (the first three are real restaurants in DC, I wouldn't be surprised if the last was too).

We are so relieved that Naomi is doing well and that Mommy got a much deserved night out. Uncle Jon and Aunt Kori were here this weekend and they asked about all of you as well. We sure love all of our kids! Grandma C.

It's wonderful to see your genuine "I-feel-good-again" sweet smiling face, Naomi Grace! Ear infections, croup, etc are just so very hard on little ones & their parents, aren't they.... You look great, Calley! I hope you're well over your recent cold, too. Enjoy the beautiful leaves & balmy weather of this most lovely time of year in Ohio!
