Kept Busy This Weekend

Saturday we walked the "Purple People Bridge", took the girls to a park at Sawyer Point and then had breakfast at a great little place in Newport. This morning we hiked through Redbird Hollow, and then checked in on the Meier family reunion (Cal's grandmother's family) this evening.

Here are photos.

Random note of marginal interest - this was the soundtrack to Saturday's breakfast (it sounded oddly like a gay dance club):

:: Crazy in Love [Beyonce]
:: Hot Stuff [Donna Summer]
:: Da' Butt [E.U.]
:: It's Raining Men [The Weather Girls]
:: Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now) [C+C Music Factory]
:: Pump Up the Jam [Technotronic]
:: We Are Family [Sister Sledge]
:: Relax [Frankie Goes to Hollywood]
:: Play That Funky Music [Wild Cherry]
:: The Power [Snap!]

Another random note: pick up some of this stuff if you can find it and have the means. Crazy delicious.

Dax and I were at Redbird Hollow today as well. I got in the water with Dax. It was crazy cold water.

What a great weekend! Lots of good pictures, Matt. I'd say you BOTH do well on updating the site! Thanks. Mom C.

Mom, you're being too generous. I've definitely fallen off on the updates of late. Thankfully, Calley has more than picked up the slack.

as long as someone is posting, the natives won't get too restless...

I need to crunch so data on post regularity for my favorite blogs.

Adam does the best version of "it's raining men" i've ever heard.
