Accident Prone

Selah is bold, adventurous and uninhibited - all amazing character traits that I hope she always possesses. However, they are less than desirable (at least from my parental perspective) when it comes to being a fast paced toddler.

Today she did a nose dive down the stairs. Thankfully, I was standing in front of her and managed to stop her halfway down. Ugh, I about had a heart attack. Then, an hour later, she slides sideways off the bathroom step stool with a toothbrush in her mouth.

Thanks for the extra comment. I was searching her face for a boo-boo and wondering about the "accident prone" staement. I'm so glad that she's okay. Are you okay, Mom? That DOES give you a thrill! Love you all.

This picture is actually pre-falls. She's a bit red and purple around one eye but doing just fine...ready to tackle the world like usual.

Cal: I remember those days...the feelings never go away and you are always thankful that what if didn't happen. I'm glad that both mother & daughter are doing well. Love, Mom

Oh Calley, I'm sure that put your heart in your throat! I was laughing at the picture, thinking, well she looks pretty good for all that. But, since you mention it was a "before" picture, I understand now! ;) She's a tough little girl!
