A Compassionate Heart
My get-well card from Naomi
I have had a nearly debilitating headache for the past two days, which is uncommon for me. If it weren't for tylenol and motrin, I'm quite sure I wouldn't be functioning. So, this morning when I woke up and struggled against the sun to open my eyes, Naomi decided it was time to intervene. She started getting into the craft supplies at 7 am...not totally unusual, but rare that she didn't ask for help. Minutes later she comes and hands be a sticker-clad envelop with this note inside:
Dear Mom, I know you are not feeling good but I love you.
It was impossible not to feel better. Naomi clearly has a compassionate, kind and giving heart and I couldn't love her more!
